Here’s what I (we) did each day since arriving in Stellenbosch, SA!
Things of note:
• “Bergpad” means our 4k mountain trail run
• “Trappe” means our stadium stairs workout
• It’s about a 25 minute walk to the stadium/mountain/gym from our house and a 10-15 minute walk to the local school for lunch and dinner – not an insignificant amount of travel and walking time but it’s pleasantly enjoyable in good, warm weather and if we’re not in a rush

Amazing pic. What’s the session that I saw a picture of where it looks like a ball machine is shooting lacrosse balls at you?

Isn’t it beautiful?? And that’s just one of their (multiple) practice fields! The picture with the ball machine is from the Vision Lab / “Innovation Center” at the university’s athletic facilities, where we work on improving our peripheral vision, visual awareness, reaction time, and hand eye coordination! (Think, whack-a-mole on the wall machines.) The machine in the pic was shooting ping pong balls (!!) at different directions, angles, and speeds, and we had to *try* to catch them. At least several hit me in the face each round before I can shield myself from them haha… I mean um, catch them.
